101 things in 1001 days

I don't think I can emphasise enough how much I LOVE writing lists and I love it even more when I cross things off. The days I don't look at a list are the days that nothing gets done. So when I stumbled across the idea of 101 things in 1001 days I was hooked. I hope I don't bore you all with my updates!

The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

As far as organizing your materials, I am also working on my stash and found the folding techniques shown on the blog "In Color Order" extremely helpful. I am loving how the stacks of color are piling up. I also want to start on a Dear Jane. I have made three blocks but want to really choose a colorway and go for it. 1001 days sounds far more reasonable than a year - especially where Jane is concerned!
